ABOUT US

What We Do

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the joy, growth, and well-being of all Foothills Montessori School students. The FMS PTO is made up of parents, guardians, teachers, and staff who care deeply about creating meaningful experiences that enrich our children’s learning and bring our school community closer together.

Community Building

At its core , the PTO’s role is to build strong relationships between parents, teachers, and the school— creating a more supportive and enriching environment for children by supporting a nurturing community grounded in Montessori values through engaging family events and activities.

Student Enrichment

Through afterschool activities and events, we create opportunities for FMS students to challenge themselves, explore new interests, and build connections with their peers—all while encouraging school spirit and reinforcing the core Montessori values of Academic Excellence, Universal Values, Global Understanding, and Service.

School Support

We’re here to speak up for our kids and help make great things happen. We work hand-in-hand with school leadership to support students’ needs—whether that means bringing in inspiring guest speakers, providing enrichment tools and materials, or simply finding ways to say thank you to our amazing teachers and staff.

Meet The Board 2025-2026

At the heart of our PTO is a shared passion for building a strong, connected community. A few of us are here to help things run smoothly—bringing events to life, creating space for new ideas, and encouraging everyone to be part of the journey. We’re always open to conversation, collaboration, and creativity. Let’s build something meaningful—together.
